When I installed win 10 it automatically tries to install updates even though the chipset drivers are not updated (making device manager with many exclamation points) so install the chipset drivers from the driver pack, reboot, and continue the win updates. I have just finished installing windows 10 pro, I tried to install the chipset driver first from the asus website but it said the current version that windows 10 installed was newer than the one from the asus website so I tried the one from the driver pack and this worked beautifully and made all the problems ie not installed drivers is device manager all fixed there was quite a lot, I have not installed any other drivers from the pack as I am not using a Raid setup and I used the audio driver from the asus website as this one looks just like the one that came with my motherboard cd, maybe the driver pack one is the same I didnt risk trying it. Sorry for all the questions and thanks for any help you give. How good and stable is the Beta BIOS 0801 is it safe and good to use this instead of 0701? I would like to update the BIOS to 0701 but I need to know when I do the update will it keep all my memory timings and settings as I had the shop I bought it from make all the settings, I have 64 GB Ram with settings not using the XMP option. Or since im using a clean install of win 10 should I use the drivers from the motherboard CD that it came with? would these work/be compatible for win 10? my concern is the chipset driver/software which is the best to use? Or use the drivers from the asus website : I have installed windows 10 pro as an update and everything is working good so I am going to do a clean install of win 10 but should I use the driver pack from :
